Victoria’s most prestigious artisan fair, the Out of Hand Fair has a well deserved reputation for presenting fine crafts, artisan food and one-of-a-kind fashions. The Crystal Garden, once a salt water pool under glass, provides a spectacular backdrop for this professional show.
We're excited to present our 4th annual fashion show, showcasing the fashion designers who exhibit in the fair, with a special Friday night event called Fashion in Action. A fun event, the models walk the runway to commentary by a CHEK TV personality while patrons relax in wicker chairs with glasses of wine, Empress cocktails and appetizers. The fashions, accessories and jewellery are unique, eco friendly, locally designed and produced, and are totally fabulous. Adding to the ambience, a DJ puts a spin on Christmas classics and fabulous door prizes are given away during the evening. A fun event and free with your admission!
Mark your calenders! November 29th, through Decembe 1st we return to the Crystal Garden with some of Canada's most creative artisans, bringing an eclectic mix of food, fashion, home decor and art.

This is info for the 2012 fair and will be changing as the year develops. Because this will be our 25th year we are planning a fantastic array of events, prizes and surprizes of all sorts.
Friday night only - In return for donating a gently used coat, sweater or warm winter clothing you can enter to win:
- a shopping spree, or
- a 2-night stay at the Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel Vancouver steps away from BC Place, Robson St. and Yaletown. Two nights, good October through to April, www.rosedaleonrobson.com.
Winner to be announced at the end of the fashion show. Cool Aid will distribute the warm clothing to those in need.

Fine Food Service: The Fairmont Empress will set up a gourmet bistro in the ballroom on the upper level. Grab a tasty snack or a meal while you ponder your gift list.
Coat and parcel check: Located by the entrance, "Grandmothers for Africa" will look after your coats and parcels while you shop, in return for a donation.
Information/Central Credit Card Service: Located on the main floor, booth 18.
ATM Machine Offered by ABM: Located on both levels
